Albert Ahlf has worked as a freelance musician and private music teacher for the past several years. He received his Bachelor of Music degree from SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Music with a minor in Philosophy, and received his Master of Arts degree in Music Education from CUNY Hunter College. He currently works professionally as a pianist, keyboardist, theory tutor, arranger and composer, and jazz vocalist. He is well versed in classical and jazz piano, and performs and teaches both genres.
Albert has performed as a solo pianist and singer at various locations throughout the Hudson Valley, Rockland County, and New York City. He plays keyboard and provides vocals for his swing jazz band "Ahlfabet." He also loves to play French horn.

Soprano Anneke Harger earned her Bachelor of Music degree from New England Conservatory (NEC), where she studied under Lisa Saffer. While at NEC, she made her Jordan Hall debut as a soloist in the contemporary work The Awakening, under the direction of Maestro Simon Carrington. She also performed the role of Second Woman in Dido and Aeneas and participated in various ensemble roles with the undergraduate opera studio. She was a soloist in Bach Cantatas 199 and 202 with her Baroque Chamber Ensemble as part of the NEC's Chamber Music Gala.
Anneke holds a certificate in Baroque performance from Barock Vokal at the Hochschule für Musik, Mainz, where she worked with early music specialists Konrad Junghanel, Dr. Claudia Eder, Emma Kirkby and Andreas Scholl. Her performance of "Ombre Piante" from Rodelinda was described as “evoking a profound and somber introspection” by the Allgemeine Zeitung Mainz. A lover of chamber music, Anneke has participated in Baroque chamber music ensembles at the New England Conservatory, Amherst Early Music Festival, Vancouver Early Music Festival, and the Sommerakademie Neuburg.
An avid chorister, Anneke has also traveled to Canada, Germany, England, The Netherlands, Austria, and South Africa, and has sung under renowned directors such as Dr. William Weinert, Simon Carrington, Erica Washburn, Dr. Joel Navarro and Dr. Pearl Shangkuan. This past summer, she participated in the Westchester Summer Vocal Institute, where she performed as Susanna in scenes from Le nozze di Figaro and as Second Lady in scenes from Die Zauberflöte.
Anneke is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Opera Performance from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, where she studies with Sherry Overholt.

Brian is currently pursuing his degree in Classical Guitar Performance at the Purchase College Conservatory of Music. He has experience with many genres, including popular, contemporary, and classical music as a soloist and in small ensembles. He has collaborated with musical theater groups, including a production of “Rent” in 2015. In addition to classical guitar, Brian has extensive experience playing electric guitar and electric bass guitar.
In 2015, Brian moved to New York from North Carolina to pursue a teaching and performing career in music. He has been teaching students of all ages for several years and enjoys new challenges.

Brooke is a pianist, composer, and educator currently earning her degree in Jazz Performance from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College. She has studied under the instruction of Matthew Fogg, Vadim Serebryany, Charis Dimaras, Donald Vega, Ingrid Jensen, and Gary Smulyan. Beginning with a background in classical piano and clarinet, Brooke moved to pursue a career in jazz and contemporary music after a visit to a jazz club in New York City. Her passion for piano pedagogy has led her to teach privately for several years, including modern rock ensembles, jazz combos, woodwind chamber groups, intermediate ear training, and jazz theory. She regularly performs throughout New York City and in her native state of Maine. Brooke enjoys helping to bring contemporary music to the public, having worked with the brand and marketing team at Jazz At Lincoln Center to promote their latest album Una Noche Con Rubén Blades.
Brooke’s approach to teaching balances foundational skills and personalized instruction to help foster individualized growth within each of her students. She advocates for the pure enjoyment of music rather than rigidity to encourage students to pursue a lifetime of musical freedom and proficiency.

Christhian Pace is a graduate of Berklee College of Music with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production and Engineering. He has been working as an ensemble director at various after-school music schools in both Boston and Miami for the last 6 years, where he also worked as a freelance audio engineer and producer. He’s since relocated to Brooklyn, NY where he teaches, produces, and performs regularly.
Chris is incredibly passionate about teaching and using his talents to give back to his community. In his opinion, everyone has the ability to be musical. Los Angeles native David Freeman is a current Master's student at New York's renowned Juilliard School, where he also just earned his Bachelor of Music degree. While at Juilliard, David has had the pleasure of performing with world class conductors and musicians including Itzhak Perlman, Marin Alsop, Gerard Schwarz, and Alan Gilbert. As a brass student, David participates in frequent masterclasses and coachings taught by acclaimed brass faculty artists such as Joseph Alessi and members of the American Brass Quintet. His primary teachers have been Alan Baer of the New York Philharmonic and Amy Bowers of the University of Southern California.
David has had many performance opportunities outside of school. In 2014, he performed the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto with the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra, and since then has had the pleasure of performing with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, Brooklyn Symphony, Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, and the Altino Brothers at Carnegie Hall, among many others. David's well-accomplished brass quintet, Apex Brass, regularly performs in prestigious venues all across New York, including Alice Tully Hall, the New York Supreme Court, and various museums. In the summer of 2017, the quintet took off to Japan, where they competed in the 9th Osaka International Chamber Music Competition. Shortly after, Apex was invited to Tianjin, China, where they performed at the ground-breaking ceremony for the new Juilliard-Tianjin campus, and gave a recital at the Tianjin Conservatory.
An avid educator, David enjoys spending much of his time teaching students of all ages. Through two Juilliard fellowships, he is both a Morse Teaching Artist and MAP (Music Advancement Program) Mentor. As a Morse fellow, he teaches music aesthetic to a class of elementary students at Thurgood Marshall Academy in Harlem. As a MAP Mentor, he guides and teaches high school brass players while playing alongside them in band and orchestra classes. Additionally, David teaches preschool alternative classes at Equinox Sports Club in Manhattan’s Upper West Side.

Emily Beseau is a graduate from Ithaca College with a B.M. in Vocal Performance. She has studied classical, jazz, and musical theatre styles of singing, as well as classical and jazz piano. Her favorite roles include Cecilia (Cover) in Little Women (Ithaca College), Mrs. Sowerberry in Oliver (RAPA), and Tina in Sister Act (RAPA). She participated in the "Si parla, si canta" program in Urbania, Italy, where she was coached by prestigious performers, including Nicole Cabell, Chris Merritt, and Federico Sacchi. She has also participated in master classes with Westminster Choir College Professor Sharon Sweet and Juilliard Vocal Coach J.J. Penna. Currently, she participates in community theatre in the Rochester area.
Emily teaches dance, acting, and singing classes to children and preteens at the Rochester Association of Performing Arts (RAPA). Emily is passionate about sharing the gift of music with all of her students!

Emma Elizabeth Steen is a New York-based multi-instrumentalist and experimental folk artist. A self-taught musician with a love for performing live, she has played bass, guitar, keyboards, drums, and she has sung with numerous bands, including Prosody, The Mother Shipton Prophets’ Guild, Pandafan, Heart’s Story, One Man Vibe Machine, zack, Ariana McGinn, and Green Tongue Twist. She has also done session work for several solo artists, including Rachel Chevat, Elise Noelle, Sarah Gross, and Suzzy Roche. Her projects have been featured in Rochester City Newspaper, TrueFolk TV, and The Music Mermaid Magazine, and she has appeared on over 40 albums, singles, and EPs.
Emma has performed multiple times with NYC cover outfit Losers Lounge, and has toured New York, Washington DC, and Vermont with Pandafan. Her punk project, Prosody, opened for Michaele Graves of the Misfits in 2018. Her 2018 song “Darren’s Happy Disco Fun Time” was featured on GeekBeat Radio, for which she also guest hosted several times.
Emma has also enjoyed a noteworthy theatre career. She has stage managed, costume designed, child chaperoned, and acted at Cherry Lane, HB Studios, and La Mama, and she has worked alongside many noted film and TV actors.
Emma is pursuing her Master’s degree at the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase College, where she studies with Silas Brown, Sloan Wainwright, and Peter Denenberg. She also runs Woolly Bear Booking, a booking agency dedicated to acoustic folk acts. When not teaching, practicing, or performing, you can find Emma eating mac ’n’ cheese at odd hours of the night, putting stickers on her laptop, or planting tomatoes with her mom.

Eugene Posniewski received his BM summa cum laude in Voice Performance and Opera Studies from the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase College. He has studied privately with Mina Kim, Joan Krueger, Hugh Murphy, and Jacque Trussel. Eugene’s performance credits include appearances at Carnegie Hall and the Performing Arts Center at Purchase College. Eugene is an accomplished pianist and works as an accompanist, liturgical pianist, and baritone soloist in Westchester County. Eugene holds several years teaching experience and is a certified Kindermusik Educator, specializing in early childhood education. He has directed musicals at the Education First International Academies of Tarrytown and Thornwood and has taught at various music schools in Westchester County. Eugene is trained, as a pianist, in the classical Russian method. His students have placed and performed in competitions throughout Europe, New York City, and Westchester County, including the Rome Grand Prize Virtuoso Competition and the International Bach Competition.

Frederick Schlick, tenor, is a New York City-based performer with a Master’s Degree in Opera Performance from Boston Conservatory. Role credits from his time there include Tom Rakewell in Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress, Bill in Johnathan Dove’s Flight, Gastone/Alfredo cover in Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata, and Don Basilio in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro. After graduating Boston Conservatory, Frederick became a member of Brevard Music Center’s Janiec Opera Company for the summer of 2016. There, he sang the roles of Lysander in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Ethan Krusemark in the world premiere of J. Mark Scearce's Falling Angel. He was also a soloist in Vaughan Williams’ Serenade to Music. In the fall of 2016, Frederick made his professional debut as Young Jim Thompson in Tom Cipullo’s Glory Denied with Pensacola Opera. He recently reprised the role with Tri-Cities Opera in the fall of 2017.
Last year, Frederick joined City Lyric Opera as Nemorino in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore and returned in 2019 to sing Don José in La Tragédie de Carmen. Frederick is also frequently seen in Berks Opera Company’s productions. In 2014 he covered Goro in Madame Butterfly and was a chorister in Faust the following year. His most recent BOC performance was Cassio in Verdi’s Otello and Alfred in Die Fledermaus this past August.
Frederick currently resides in Port Chester, NY and is incredibly excited to be part of the team at Eugene’s Music Studio. He is looking forward to building young voices, reaching goals, and actualizing dreams. Frederick hopes that his students ascertain the skills to develop their artistic goals while having fun in a constructive environment.

Greta Moorhead is a contralto/mezzo-soprano and music educator based in Manhattan. Born and raised in Pennsylvania, she began studying music at a young age, first focusing on the piano. Later, she started learning violin and voice in her teenage years. Greta received a merit-based scholarship to study at The Hartt School of The University of Hartford, where she obtained her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance in 2013, graduating summa cum laude. While at Hartt, Greta studied with Marjorie Melnick and Eric Trudel and appeared as Leila in Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe as well as The Strawberry Woman in George Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess with Hartt Opera Theater. Greta has performed a variety of roles with opera companies in The Northeast and the Midwest, including Arnalta in Claudio Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea with
Haymarket Opera Company and Mercy Lewis in Robert Ward’s The Crucible with Hartford Opera Theater, among others. An active recitalist, she enjoys collaborating with musicians based in New York and New England on a wide variety of repertoire, particularly early and contemporary music. Greta has performed with CONCORA, one of New England’s premier professional choirs, in addition to C4, a composer/conductor collective in New York City.

Joey Grimaldi is a guitarist, teacher, and composer based in Westchester, New York. Joey began his studies at age 12, playing the electric guitar in local bands. He became interested in classical music, jazz, and composing while at Hartwick College in Oneonta, New York, where he obtained his B.A. in Classical Guitar Performance. After college Joey moved to Nashville, Tennessee, playing in many of the city’s most distinguished venues, and he maintained an active and diverse performance schedule.
Currently, Joey is a busy teacher, performer, and session player. He has an album of original classical guitar music called Song of the Guitar. Joey is experienced in all genres including classical, jazz, rock, pop, country, blues, and more. Joey has composed over 100 pieces for solo guitar and other chamber ensembles, including a symphony and the The Well-Tempered Guitar, a set of 24 etudes in all the major and minor keys.
Joey is excited to share his knowledge and experience to help others learn and grow both musically and personally. He believes that anyone can benefit from learning music, whether it be a budding performer, casual hobbyist, a child looking to expand their mind and skillset, or someone seeking a way to better express themselves.

Canadian-born jazz pianist Joshua Goodman first realized he wanted to be a composer when he heard Chucho Valdes and his band Irakere play in Switzerland. Their energy lit a fire within him - enough so that even McCoy Tyner once told him, "I can see the fire in your eyes."
Born to university scholar parents and practitioners, Joshua was ready to learn. He studied with world famous pianist, composer, and educator Dr. Barry Harris. He also studied music in California.
Joshua is a member of the Jazz Descendants together with Juno Award-winning bassist Brandi Disterheft and drummer Leroy Williams. He appeared on their 2012 album RED, which featured some of his compositions. In 2014, it made Top 10 lists at many Canadian radio stations.
Many other life experiences have influenced Josh’s music, from working with people who have disabilities, teaching English in Taiwan and Europe, to writing music for film and theatre in Toronto.
Now studying in New York, Joshua has recently composed two works for symphony orchestra. He collaborates with the band Common Ground, and continues to compose and work for The Jazz Descendants.

Joshua is a performer, composer, and educator from Schenectady, NY. He began his musical journey playing the clarinet at a young age. He was first exposed to jazz soon after starting to play the alto saxophone. He is currently completing his degree in Jazz Studies at SUNY Purchase where he has studied with Ralph Lalama, Jon Faddis, Todd Coolman, Kenny Washington, Doug Weiss, Gary Smulyan, Pete Malinverni, and David Dejesus. Joshua has performed in notable jazz venues in the New York area, such as the Blue Note and Birdland.
Joshua enjoys spreading the joy of music to students and loves to incorporate many forms of improvisation into his lessons. He believes that a student’s connection with music will allow them to grow as a person, as well as bring enjoyment to their lives.

Kim Caridi received her Bachelor of Science degree in Music at Empire State College and her Master's degree in Music Education at Lehman College, where she also received her New York State Teacher Certification. She also holds certificates in the Kodaly, Orf and Dalcroze early childhood music teaching methods. For the last five years, she has been the music teacher for numerous preschools, day care centers and nursery schools, as well as piano teacher for after-school enrichment programs in the elementary public school system. As an accomplished performer, Kim has studied privately with many professionals in music theory, composition, voice, and in the past few years, classical and jazz piano, as well as ear training and sight singing. Kim resides in Westchester County with her husband and three children.

Lincoln Gray is a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and music educator based in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Tufts University with a B.A. in Music. While at Tufts, Lincoln received the Winokur Award for Outstanding Artistic and Scholarly Achievement and the Seymour Award for Excellence in Musical Theater.
Upon graduating from Tufts, Lincoln began his professional performance career as an actor and singer-songwriter, notably with his original children’s music project Listen to Lincoln. Since moving to New York City, he has served as a singer, songwriter, and guitarist for the vocal trio Hatless in Public.
Lincoln’s passion for performance is matched only by his love of teaching. Lincoln has worked regularly as a music educator, teaching guitar, ukulele, choral singing, piano, and general music in private, group, and classroom settings. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Maura Lefevre is a New York City-based classically trained soprano and actress. She made her Feinstein’s/54 Below debut in June 2018 under the direction of Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver. She has returned twice as a soloist since.
Recent NYC credits include Cosette in Les Misérables, Annelle in Steel Magnolias, Bielke in Fiddler on the Roof, and Laverna in the world premiere of Into the Beyond, presented at The Shakespeare Forum’s Summer Festival.
Maura graduated summa cum laude from the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase College with a Bachelor of Music degree in Opera/Vocal Performance. While at SUNY Purchase she performed as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Gretel in Hansel and Gretel.

Molly Kiser was born in Japan and began studying piano at age 5. A protégé of legendary pianist Reiko Matsuzaki, she started winning gold medals in competitions at age 6. She was the first prize winner of the prestigious All-Japan Mainichi Newspaper Student Competition, which led to her debut recital in Tokyo at the age of 12, and her appearance with the Rosenkranz Orchestra in Japan performing Beethoven’s 5th Piano Concerto “Emperor” at the age of 13.
After she moved to the United States, she won first prizes in numerous competitions, including the World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, the Kingsville International Young Performers Competition, and the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition. She has also won medals in the National Young Artist Competition in Midland-Odessa, the Haddonfield Concerto Competition, the Nina Widemann Piano Competition, and the Sorantin Young Artist Award Competition. She has appeared as a soloist with the Tokyo City Orchestra, the Westchester Symphony Orchestra, the Salem Philharmonic Orchestra, the World Festival Orchestra, the Corpus Christi Symphony Orchestra, and the Fort Collins Symphony Orchestra among others. Donald Rosenberg of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reviewed her performance as one with "great depth of tone and interpretive intensity." After her performance in the Wideman Piano Competition, judge Katherine Glaser selected her to perform in Dame Myra Hess' radio series.
Molly gave her New York debut recital at Alice Tully Hall to critical acclaim. Renowned pianist Darrell Rosenbluth said of her performance, “It’s unthinkable that Liszt himself could do better.” Molly has been active as a chamber musician in the Czech Republic and the NY Tristate Area. She received her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree from The Juilliard School, where she studied with Peter Serkin. Her doctoral dissertation “Toshi Ichiyanagi - His Life and Works” is the first comprehensive biographical and analytical study on one of Japan’s foremost contemporary composers, Toshi Ichiyanagi.

Nicholas Yurisak is a guitarist, percussionist, songwriter, and music producer based out of Queens, New York. Nicholas fell in love with music at the age of 10, starting his musical journey performing with local bands in basements, garages, and backyards. He graduated cum laude from Five Towns College with a degree in Music Business and a concentration in Business Management.
Nowadays, you can see Nicholas performing on national tours with the industry’s biggest names. He has performed alongside Shawn Mendes, Charli XCX, MKTO, Andy Grammer, Todrick Hall, Aaron Carter, Jesse McCartney, and more. Additionally, he has performed on the Jingle Ball tour which boasted headliners Taylor Swift, Maroon 5, and Ariana Grande. Rocio Diaz de Cossio has been teaching students of all ages for several years.
Rocio has performed in master classes with John Waltz, principal cellist at LA Opera; Yao Zhao, principal cellist at San Diego Symphony; Fabiola Flores, cellist in the Orquesta Sinfónica de Minería in Mexico; Christine Ma, professor of the Shanghai Conservatory; and Ildenfonso Cedillo, professor at Universitad de las Américas Puebla in Mexico. She has also participated in numerous national and international orchestra festivals and contemporary music workshops. Rocio was awarded a grant from APROMAC (el Programa de Apoyo a la Promoción Artística y Cultural) art program, Talentos Artísticos Valores de Baja California (Artistic Talents of Baja California).

Native New Yorker Sean McCann graduated from The University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2015 with a degree in Music Technology, and has been teaching and performing full time ever since. Sean’s musical identity has always been defined by his curiosity for different styles. He is a performing musician in multiple bands across the tri-state area. Currently, he plays bass in the avant-pop act Diana Lopez, as well as the rock group Damn Jackals.

Zydae Joyner is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education with two minors in Spanish and Mathematics. She grew up playing the clarinet, oboe, and tenor saxophone. Her talents have since expanded to piano, alto horn, cello, and voice. She has since relocated to Brooklyn, New York and loves teaching here!
